Named for the Hawker Harrier ?Jump Jet? which served across several air and naval air forces, the Matador Edition takes design cues from planes that flew for the Armada Espana (Spanish Navy). The 44-millimeter case features a carved caseback that shows the turbine blades of the Rolls Royce Pegasus engine that powered the Harrier. You?ll also find knurling on the crown and piston-style pushers.

The dial of the Matador features a series of gears and wheels layered on top of each other to provide depth and complexity. At 12 o?clock there is a ?Grand Date? double aperture date display and at 3 o?clock a 1/20th of a second split time sub-dial, a feature possible thanks to the Matador?s re-engineered movement. The applied markers and hands feature lume throughout, so the Hawker Harrier Matador stays visible at night.
