Zodiac and Timeless Team Up for the Latest Super Seawolf GMT
More than most brands, Zodiac has embraced this new age of the GMT. A complication that in 2020 doesn?t mean what it did in almost any other year, it?s a watch genre that has proven to be extremely durable and desirable for fans in the enthusiast community. Because of the romance associated with travel (in 2020, for many of us, it?s outright fantasy), the GMT is particularly well suited to designs that are rooted in vintage character, and that?s really Zodiac?s sweet spot. After a series of popular, brightly colored GMT watches with multi-colored bezels that evoke classic Bakelite, Zodiac is back with a new version of the Super Seawolf GMT, the unexpected Blackout Edition.
The Super Seawolf GMT Blackout Edition is a partnership with retailer Timeless Luxury Watches out of Dallas, TX. The new watch takes the same formula as previous Zodiac GMTs – namely a rotating 24 hour bezel and retro, dive watch styling – and gives it a sleek, blacked out look. The case and bracelet have both been given a black coating, and the dial is a gloss black as well.
